The Making of Aampapadwala

Aampapadwala began the way all great stories do, over snacks with friends.

It was Diwali night. Four friends, all obsessed with the tangy, chatpata magic of aam papad, sat around munching on their favourite treat. Between laughter and stories, a thought struck: “What if everyone could experience aam papad the way we do?”

What started as a lighthearted conversation turned into something bigger the very next day. With a shoestring budget but unlimited passion, we decided to bring aam papad out of the shadows of street corners and into homes: fresh, hygienic, and full of variety.

Because here’s the truth: street food often gets a bad name. You never really know what’s gone into it. But aam papad deserves better. It deserves to be celebrated, crafted with care, and shared with the world.

That’s why we rolled up our sleeves and created Aampapadwala, a brand built to let the aam aadmi taste the real joy of aam papad, in its purest, cleanest, and most irresistible form.
